OUR APPROACH TO COLLEGE COUNSELING

Summit College Counseling helps students explore what's important to them, and reflect on where they’ve been and where they want to go to find the colleges that fit them best.

College Admissions are increasingly competitive and unpredictable. At Summit College Counseling, students learn how to differentiate themselves in the college application process. Services include course and activity planning, developing a balanced list of colleges to apply to, testing advice, resume writing, application guidance that keeps students organized and on time, and personal statements and essays that reflect students' unique characteristics, interests, and values.

Our goal is to make the college application process a positive learning experience focused on self-reflection and personal growth.

"Jackie’s attention to detail and true passion for what she does is remarkable. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and patient person to help them with one of the most difficult processes I have been through. Thank you, Jackie, for all of your help and I can’t wait for my next experience in the honors college at UCSB!"

I think it was the best decision I made to get help with this and I believe it relieved some family stress. Summer is so excited to get her acceptances and we are planning our college visits now!"

"Jackie took the stress and anxiety out of the college application process. Max is my oldest, and I really didn’t feel prepared to guide him in this journey. We had so many questions, and Jackie had our answers. With her expertise, Max stayed organized and on track. I feel so fortunate that my friend referred me to her. In the end, the most difficult task of all was choosing which college offer to accept! Max is beyond excited to attend UCLA in the Fall. Thank you, Jackie!"
